Growing up, I was a shy and introverted child. Books became my refuge, a place where I could escape from the trauma of losing my father and my struggles with low self-esteem. Through stories, I explored the world without ever leaving my bedroom—and in that exploration, I found my passion for writing.
As a young girl, I constantly created rhymes and poems in my head. I dreamed of being an author, but fear of rejection and ridicule held me back. Still, I kept writing—short stories, half-finished books, and poems I tucked away, afraid to share.
Years passed, and while raising a family, I fought to heal from past traumas and overcome the weight of depression and self-doubt. It was a long and difficult journey. Then, my world turned upside down when my youngest child began self-harming, acting out, running away, and spiraling into trouble. I felt completely alone and powerless.
But I refused to give up. I hunkered down, determined to REACH my daughter, to pull her back from the edge. I knew that if I wanted to help her heal, I had to heal, too. There was no way I would let her fall through the cracks! That determination led me to write No Matter What – How Far Would You Go to Save Your Child?
I wanted to provide solace and comfort for parents and teens in similar situations.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE
Through my journey, I realized that everyone has a God-given purpose and a story worth telling. I believe stories have the power to bring light into the world, to heal, inspire, and uplift.
That’s why I founded Reachout Publishing—to help share meaningful content that educates, entertains, and changes lives.
I am also incredibly proud of my Canadian heritage and my faith in God. This passion led me to create Reach Love Connect Boutique, where I offer patriotic and faith-inspired apparel that reflects love, resilience, and unwavering belief.
